I
hit it like a pro..... It is well balanced with a large sweet spot and good grip.
I would recommend this to a friend. It goes good with my yellow cleats,
too.

This
bat rocks! This is one of of the best bats I have used through out my
softball career. From now on I will always use this bat but at different
weight and
length sizes.

The -13 drop on this bat enabled my daughter to swing the same weight as her
prior bat, but allowed her to gain 3 inches in reach. She loves the feel of
the bat, and I liked the price, so it's definitely worth looking into!

We recently moved beyond the $20 Easton Walmart/Target bats, and went
with this bat. It's the same weight as her old bat, but with the -13
drop, it's actually 3" longer. My daughter fell in love with it
during her 1st trip to the batting cages after buying the bat. We practiced
this past weekend, and I heard multiple times that she "just loves" that
bat. It's the best value that we've gotten in a bat in a long time. I
agree that the finish wears down quickly and easily, but the bat itself
is a gem.

There comes a time when your daughter is ready to move beyond the $20
bats at Wal-Mart, but if she is 8 to 10 years old, a composite bat may
be too pricey when you're looking at a bat that will likely end up on
the floor of the dugout. The Worth Prodigy is a nice compromise between
price and performance, and with a -13 drop, it is a great bat for very
young players. The
bat is slightly end-loaded which allows for more power through the
swing and the anti-sting
wrap
helps protect little hands. It has a great
sound that composites just can't match and there is a surprising amount
if "pop" for a value price bat. Of course, the real test comes
when real girls take pitches in real games and this bat delivers. I have
seen several 8u girls use the 31/18 version of this bat and everyone
one of them love it. The only drawback to this bat (and it's a minor one) is that the finish
comes off easily. It looks very old and used after one season of moderate
use, but it's a nitpicky complaint on an otherwise great bat.

Drop is extreme - a great beginners
bat. Bat seems to bounce off the ball instead of visa versa.
