Description of the Features
The Mizuno Wrath comes in models of -10 and -8 drops (length to weight ratio) making the Mizuno Wrath good choices for smaller players using the -10 drop and stronger players using the -8 drop. Mizuno's unique, patented design of Composite - Aluminium - Composite Construction uses a combination of Fiber Reinforced Plastic through the entire shell. This gives the Mizuno Wrath increased trampoline effect that generates maximum distance and performance. The Mizuno Wrath also features Mizuno’s a new PX99 aluminum sleeve in the barrel for added performance. Unlike a typical multi-wall bat, the PX99 sleeve is neither an inner wall nor exterior shell, but rather encased in the Wrath’s composite shell - adding to the Mizuno Wrath's performance. The Mizuno Wrath is well balanced but has a short barrel – a rare combination. It also has decent pop, but lacks the end weighting to be a true power-hitter’s bat. The Mizuno Wrath uses Mizuno’s “Active Flex” in the taper, a new design that allows for 8% greater flex through the swing, increasing bat speed through the hitting zone. Finally, the cushioned grip is designed for a better feel and control of the bat. Mizuno’s exclusive cushioned grip tape, a staple on Techfire series bats since 2005, is a love it or hate it grip. You'll have to try to see if it's right for you. Bottom line: The Mizuno Wrath has good performance in two different drops - but you need to make certain you fell comfortable with the flex and grip. The Mizuno Wrath #340134 (-10) and #340158 (-8) Features:
