My daughter started the season (8U) with a 30/20 FP Combat Virus. Borrowed a 30/18 Miken Halo Light her last game. Increased bat speed = more pop off the bat and distance. The Combat has more pop but she's can't throw it thru the zone as fast as the Halo Light.

The RT is end loaded which makes the bat seem heavier than it really is. I got my 11 year old a Halo Light, She LOVES it is 32"/20oz and balanced. Her bat speed has never been great but it's better with the Halo Light than the RT. The Halo Light has some good pop to it(now that I beat it on a telephone pole) and EVERY ONE on the travel team wants to hit with it.

As my daughter now plays 12U and I replaced her stealth Comp w/ the Miken Light -12. It's extremely fast, well balanced, and the ball has a much greater rebound off the barrel. Weighing 90 pounds, my daughter is hitting the ball on average 30 feet farther. We performed tests with a pitching machine. Also other bats had problems with use. Like the Havoc...bad bat. Dents/goes out of round too easy, loses it's pop early.. worthless. Miken ... worth the $$.

We got one for my daughter (34/22) and from it's initial use it appears to be HOT as a fire cracker on impact.

The ball jumps off the bat! I was shocked actually because it is a drop 12.

It has excellent distance and good pop.

My daughter loves hers. It has a very large sweet spot and a lot of pop for a light bat. But it is extremely light and not end loaded at all. I suggest your daughter swing one before you buy. You can also find good deals on the internet.

My 13 yr. old daughter loves her Halo Light (34-22). She also has a brand new Stealth, but she much prefers the Halo over the Stealth. Her batting average has increased significantly since she started swinging the Halo. I know that doesn't have anything to do with it, but if she thinks it does, then it does!

My daughter is playing 10U travel softball. This bat is by far the hotest bat I have seen in a few years. Every ball that is hit jumps off this bat and make it very difficult for fielders to make a play! Buy it!

I have an Anderson RockeTtech and an Easton and was hitting well before but now I'm really hitting with pop. The bat just swings easy i love it. Dad took so long to find me a real thunder stick.

My daughter fell in love with the ease of knocking the socks off the ball with this bat unlike endloaded bats that killed her hand speed.

T
his bat is very hot out of the wrapper. My daughter has hit several HRs and multi-base hits with it. She has previously used a Rocket Tech and other Mikens and finds this bat to her preference. The drop weight ratio allows hitters to swing a larger bat with no reduced bat speed issues. Once Miken improves their paint and graphics for wear it will get a higher rating. However, if you are more concerned with performance than looks, then this is a great bat.

The balance and sweet spot are excellent. I have 3 of them now and a team that doesn't want to swing anything but a Halo. This bat gives a very light feel, but it will get the job done.

My daughter loves this bat. She is smaller and we were worried she would have a hard time using this bat. But so far has had awesome hits with it and is great for slapping! Well worth the money!!!

My daughter has a Synergy also and I feel this bat is right there with it. The great thing is that it is only 18 oz. and it allows some of my younger players to swing a composite bat. I rate the bat low in durability because the graphics are chipping off really bad.

My daughter has used the bat in 9 games and has had 5 extra base hits which include 1 Homer and 2 triples and 2 doubles This bat is very responsive and is very easy to handle Money well spent

Great bat, solid sound, now the whole team wants to use it. Perfect weight and sweet spot.

Not even close to a RockeTech. In fact our team has both the Halo light and Halo. This bat is simply a paint over of the OKC or a model close to it. There is nothing new about this bat as seems to be the case with many 'new' bats these days.

Of all the bats that I've used in the past three years (Catlyst, Synergy, Rocket Tech) this bat feels the best and has the same power as the RockeTech. I am able to use a longer bat and it's much easier to control due to the weight.
