The Louisville Slugger Zephyr™ Composite FP85Z is a light-weight bat designed speciffically for younger and smaller players. With a -12 drop (length to weight ratio), the Louisville Slugger Zephyr™ Composite FP85Z enables smaller players to still have good bat speed and bat control through the hitting zone while providing great bat performance.

The Louisville Slugger Zephyr™ Composite FP85Z is a one-piece, composite bat tht is modelled after the very popular Louisville Slugger Catalyst™. It uses Lousiville Slugger's 7C Composite Design - multiple layers of aerospace grade graphite and S-glass fibers which are embedded in a specially designed toughened epoxy resin with each layer precisely positioned at an angle determined by Louisville Slugger's exclusive, computer-designed pattern.

This gives the moderately-priced Louisville Slugger Zephyr™ Composite FP85Z an effective combination of performance ("sweet spot" and "trampoline effect") and durability.

Also, the Louisville Slugger Zephyr™ Composite FP85Z has a Synthetic Grip and patented End Cap that helps to damper the vibrations allowing you to have to the softest swing possible. This allows for a more natural swing without the fear of vibrations that alter your follow-thru giving you the most positive flow of power possible.
