The Easton SX45BP Rampage is a one-piece, single wall, entry-level bat that was specifically designed for smaller players. It is priced at the low-end.

The Easton SX45BP Rampage is a lightweight bat with its -11 length to weight drop. The Easton SX45BP Rampage uses strong 7050 aluminum alloy and is evenly balanced. The Easton SX45BP Rampage also has a narrow 29/32 inch handle - great for smaller hands.

The Easton SX45BP Rampage has a cushioned grip that gives young players a comfortable feel and grip. The Easton SX45BP Rampage's forged end and concave end cap reduces sting and provides increased durability.

Bottom line: The Easton SX45BP Rampage is solid entry-level bat for youth players.- a good value for a relatively new player just learning the game.

Important to know that Easton's Web Site states:

1. Easton does not recommend that you use your bat in a batting cage as the rubber balls used in most commercial batting cages are harder and denser than a regular ball and add an increased amount of stress to your bat upon impact. If you do practice in a batting cage, use the bats provided by the cage. Save your bat for use in games and practices where leather covered balls are used. Note: Using your Easton bat in a batting cage will void your warranty.
   
   
2. Easton suggests using your bat in temperatures above 60 degrees. Colder weather makes balls harder which may cause damage to your bat.
