This Easton SK30 Synergy is lightweight and targeted towards young or smaller players - it has small sizes as small as a 25" length and a (-11) length to weight ratio.

The Easton SK30 Synergy is inexpensive and combines a good barrel size (2¼") with an ultra-thin 29/32" handle and cushioned grip for small hands.

The bottom line: The Easton SK30 Synergy is a good quality starter bat for young players.

Important to know that Easton's Web Site states:

1. Easton does not recommend that you use your bat in a batting cage as the rubber balls used in most commercial batting cages are harder and denser than a regular ball and add an increased amount of stress to your bat upon impact. If you do practice in a batting cage, use the bats provided by the cage. Save your bat for use in games and practices where leather covered balls are used. Note: Using your Easton bat in a batting cage will void your warranty.
   
   
2. Easton suggests using your bat in temperatures above 60 degrees. Colder weather makes balls harder which may cause damage to your bat.
