The Easton ST260B QUANTUM Sc900 CXN is a two-piece, moderately priced bat with an aluminum barrel and composite handle. The barrel of the Easton ST260B QUANTUM Sc900 CXN uses Easton's exclusive SC900™ Scandium 900 Alloy - a strong and tough alloy that provides exceptional barrel performance

With its -11.5 drop (lenght-to-weight ratio), the Easton ST260B QUANTUM Sc900 CXN only comes in longer lengths - so it's a nice bat for older slappers.

The Easton ST260B QUANTUM Sc900 CXN uses Easton's exclusive ConneXion™ Technology (which acts as a hinge) and Easton's exclusive Opti-Flex™ Composite Handle Technology to create a bat that has some significant flex. The result is an Easton ST260B QUANTUM Sc900 CXN that provides an efficient energy transfer from handle to barrel for maximum bat head "whip" - a quicker bat swing with more power through the hitting zone

Important to know that Easton's Web Site states:

1. Easton does not recommend that you use your bat in a batting cage as the rubber balls used in most commercial batting cages are harder and denser than a regular ball and add an increased amount of stress to your bat upon impact. If you do practice in a batting cage, use the bats provided by the cage. Save your bat for use in games and practices where leather covered balls are used. Note: Using your Easton bat in a batting cage will void your warranty.
   
   
2. Easton suggests using your bat in temperatures above 60 degrees. Colder weather makes balls harder which may cause damage to your bat.
