I have been coaching softball for going on 37 years.....and every year gets
harder......but I have reviewed your fast pitch listing and agree whole heartedly
with the Phenix, Synergy, and Rocket Tech.....I have all of them in my arsenal.....although
somedays it seems the girls go to bat without a bat. No matter what kind of
bat you have, you have to swing it! Anyhow.....The comment that I wanted to
make is ....... All of these 3 bats are sold in the range of $230 to 280.....in
my opinion this is ridiculous......!
I just wanted to point out that over the years, I have found that the best
deal for not only a starter bat, but an everyday bat, that many times is used
in cold weather conditions, like high school spring contests, is the bugandy
colored TPS...I think the number is something like TP-15..which is sold for
about $40 to $50....a 32 or 33....23 oz is suggested. This probably can found
in almost every teams bat bag, but seldom used because it is no longer pretty
or doesn't cost enough........It however perhaps is the best bat in the bag
in several occations, because it is very consistent ....no matter if cold
or hot. It is durable, and has great weight distribution throughout the bat,
without
any end loads......just a good balanced bat, which allows for good bat quickness.
Its sweet spot seems to range throughout the entire bat, unlike the Phenix
and Synergy below its first 14 inches......the Rocket Tech seems a little over
weighted towards its end and should only be used by those girls with long swings
and a lack of bat quickness. I am not real fond of the Catalyst......because
it seems they have had some manufacturing problems, which may be a safety issue
in the future

My daughter is 14yo and we got her a 33/23 Phenix last August. The
performance of the bat is great.
Every ball
seems to come off of the bat
hard and the bat has a large
sweet spot. My daughter loves
the bat and the graphics. Definitely
a 10!

My 12 yr old daughter has
been swinging the Phenix
since September ’07
and loves it. At her last tournament she hit 2 balls that seemed destined to
be short- to-mid outfield depth cans of corn. Both balls 1 hopped the fence
(200’) and carried much farther than anyone watching would have thought.
When she catches all of the ball, she puts them 20’ past the fence.
Noticed that at least half of Team USA swings the Phenix as well.

Amazing bat. My daughter just benched her 07 Rocket Tech. She has been swinging
Rocket Tech's for 4 years and really wanted the 08 model, but I talked
her into a 33" Phenix. Yesterday she hit her first Varsity home run.
She's a freshman and hit the ball over a 25' fence at 200'. What a shot!
I highly
recommend
this
bat to anyone that wants to take their game to the next level.

We
bought our 10 year old daughter the 31/21 Phenix this evening.
After about an hour of taking practice swings with several bats,
she took
the Phenix to the cages, swung it a few times, came back into the
store and without hesitation said, "This
is the one." I
know DeMarini bats get good reviews overall so we're really looking
forward to it

I bought one for my daughter after her Easton had broke. When we measured
her bat speed she swung 5mph faster with the Phenix than others we tried.
I suppose
the way its balanced? In game use it has proven itself time and again. Shes
not a power hitter by any means, but keeps finding the green.I would reccomend
this bat to anyone, but choose what best fits your daughter.

I've been coaching high school varsity fastpitch and playing mens
fastpitch for years. I'm a Demarini fan when I play so I went out of pocket
and bought
a set
as team bats. A couple of girls still like the Evo's a bought two years ago
but the rest of the girls are Phenix converts. The girls' personal Eastons
and RockeTech's
are collecting dust in our equipemnt locker. This is flat the best fastpitch
bat
on
the market

We have one 11 year old that uses it. Have
her swing it before you buy it to assure you get the proper sizing.

Just
bought my daughter a Phenix 33/23. She fell in love with it at the
cages we go to. They have a number of these bats for use in their cages.
Sweet.
Will be practicing with theirs after reading the response to this
post.
Thanks!

My daughter purchased this bat this summer.
The first hit of the day was a homer! She hit three more the next
day. She absolutely
loves it.

My daughter has the Phoenix and absolutely loves it!
She has the -8 version. Probably has to do with it being the newest
bat
in
her
bag,
but she has hit several bombs with it.

We just got my daughter one a month
ago. I was a little worried at first it didnt seem to have the pop
the Stealth did, but once it got broke in -- Whoa!! what a bat. She
is a second year 12u swinging 22/32 -10 and with this bat definately
is driving a lot more balls to the grass. She loves it!

This bat is excedingly great at what it does. I bought this bat
and I can't
even tell that it is 24 ounces. But I hope you can get used to
not hearing a sound when the ball hits the bat!

I've only had
this bat for 2 weeks or so and it has been amazing! Every hit is solid
and the bat works well with inside pitches while others get a weird reaction
from the handle. The only bad thing is that the bat shell seems to be
slightly cracked near the end cap,but it is covered by the 12 month waranty.
I would definately reccomend this bat to anyone who wants more power
in their hitting.
