Stacked Composite technology gives the Phenix the biggest sweetspot in Fastpitch. With a -8 weight drop and 4-Wall Stacked Composite barrel, the Phenix is engineered for the College and High School Fastpitch player. A Carbon Reinforced Composite handle and a Clutch End-Cap, dot the "I's" and cross the "T's" for the next generation of Composite Fastpitch bats.

The Coach's Review of the
DeMarini Phenix

The DeMarini Phenix is the first Half & Half Stacked Composite bat ever produced by DeMarini. What makes this so important is that the Half & Half technology combines a vibration-taming composite handle with the Doublewall technology (greater "sweet spot" and great "trampoline" effect). Without worrying about "stinging hands", players using the DeMarini Phenix seem to hit with more confidence and power at the plate.

Also, the DeMarin Phenix uses the new Carbon Reinforced Composite handle and taper (DeMarini calls it "flex-tuned) and combines it with its Stacked Composite Technology barrels resulting in great bat performance (power), particularly with off-center hits

The Positack Grip gives you a very comfortable feel allowing you to have to most control possible over the DeMarini Phenix. The Clutch end cap and Clutch knob (new for this year) maximizes the energy transfer in barrel at the point of contact.

All in all, the DeMarini Phenix is pretty impressive, providing a most forgiving and powerful Fastpitch Softball Bat.
